Thought I'd revisit some objects originally taken using the Bradford Robotic Telescope with the GRAS telescopes. This time using some longer exposures. Here we have M 63, the Sunflower Galaxy, RA 13h 15m 49.3s Dec 42 01′ 45″.

3 sessions using GRAS 1 (2 hrs total):
22-Mar-2008 08:43:09 - 09:09:15 UTC
Clear 300 sec bin 1
Red 300 sec bin 2
V 300 sec bin 2
Blue 300 sec bin2
22-Mar-2008 11:14:00 - 12:02:21 UTC
2 x Clear 300 sec bin 1
2 x Red 300 sec bin 2
2 x V 300 sec bin 2
2 x Blue 300 sec bin 2

3 x Clear 300 sec bin 1
3 x Red 300 sec bin 2
3 x V 300 sec bin 2
3 x Blue 300 sec bin 2

Calibrated, DDP & combined in MaximDL, lots of fiddly bits with Photoshop CS2.
I deconvolved the Luminance plate with the Lucy-Richardson method (3 iterations), and did a non-linear DDP on both the RGB and Luminance. A lot of experimentation went into all that!
I'm quite pleased at the result :)
