Constellation of Taurus
Following on from Orion and Gemini, we move on to Taurus
Orion is just off to the bottom left, slightly obscured by the dome. It is a shame the image is slightly degraded in converting to an animated GIF.
And of course from Taurus you simply cannot miss The Pleiades [M45], or Seven Sisters. Someone once told me that the ancient Greeks used them as an eye sight test when recruiting their soldiers.... Should have gone to specsavers!...
